FELINE FLOWER ESSENCES
+ What is a flower essence?
Flower essences are the vibrational imprint of a plant's energy captured in water. Unlike homeopathy no elements of the plant are retained which means that essences have a long and wonderful life. The vibrational imprint is captured in the water and preserved usually with brandy, cognac, glycerine and some use apple cide vinegar.
+ How do flower essences work?
Flower essences work at the vibrational level to open, restore and balance the flow of energy in and around your cat's body. Quantum physics tells us that every living thing has an energy field. Emotional challenges such as stress, anxiety, fear, distress etc can cause the flow of energy to blocked, slowed or become out of balance. This results in the body becoming at dis-ease which increases the vulnerability to illness and disease.
Flower essences work to bring back into balance the flow of energy, to open and restore this flow thus supporting optimal wellness.
+ Are flower essences safe for may cat?
Most certainly flower essences are safe for your cat to use. You can take them too. They can be ingested, preferably by adding to your cat's drinking water and they can be patted onto your cat's ears, head and paw pads. Totally lickable also.
+ How do I give flower essences to my cat?
Flower essences are best added to your cat's drinking water. They can be added to food also or patted onto your cat's ears, top of the head or paw pads. Add 7 drops twice daily to your cat's drinking water for at least two weeks. Best practice is to work on one emotional issue at a time.

+ Are your feline botanicals safe for my cat?
I hand craft and blend all of our feline botanical mists and essences. I use a safer form of aromatherapy by using hydrosols or plant distillates which provide all of the therapeutic benefits and value from plant material but are at a dilution or strength that is safer for felines.
+ How do I use feline botanicals with my cat?
Our feline botanicals are very easy to use. Please always use as directed. Our botanical mists can be used as follows:
Gently shake the bottle prior to misting
Mist 2-3 sprays onto your hands and massage gently into your cat’s coat.
You can mist into the environment, onto bedding, in and around litter trays, into cat carriers and onto grooming aids.
You can mists onto your cat but we find that most cats don’t enjoy this sensation or sound. If misting directly mist on the body avoiding the eyes.
When massaging some of our feline fans love a gentle massage into the tips of their ears or on the base of their paws.
+ My cat doesn’t like strong smells. Will they like your feline botanicals?
As feline specialists we understand the super sensitive sense of smell that cats have. Our feline botanicals use plant hydrosols and essences which offer a subtler aroma than other aromatherapy ingredients such as essential oils. When misting you will smell a soft floral or woodsy fragrance but it won’t overpower your cat or linger undesirably for hours. It will still offer beneficial properties.
+ What if my cat licks her/his coat after I have applied the mist?
Our mists are totally lickable and safe if your cat does lick her/his coat.
+ Do your feline botanicals really work?
Yes they do! Our mists and essences work around the principles of aromatherapy and vibrational energy. We’ve tried and tested the range with moggies, rescues, pedigrees (and cat parents too).I have many years of experience in feline wellness and have developed the range to offer a natural approach that compliments veterinary care. If you are like me, you are looking for quality natural products to include in your cat’s care regime that support wellness. My motto is ‘feline wellness naturally’ and I use my products on my own two rescue girls Nara and Cookie.
+ What is in your feline botanicals?
Our botanicals include different plant hydrosols that we know are safe for cats. We include spring water and a small amount of vodka to help prevent bacterial contamination. Some of our blends also include Australian Bush Flower essences (which are amazing) and our very own Kindred Cat gem essences are coming soon. All our ingredients are sourced from reputable suppliers and we regularly quality assure our ingredients and blends. We work with Australian businesses and where possible use wild crafted or organic ingredients. Our feline botanicals are vegan and cruelty free. We use recycled plastic and aluminium packaging.
+ Do you ship to the USA?
Yes we ship to the USA and Canada using Sendle International.
+ How much does shiping to the USA cost?
Sendle provide a scale for their shipping costs based on volume. Once items are in your cart the shipping cost will be available. At present fuel surcharges apply so please check the rates.
Please note rates are in Australia dollars (AUD) as opposed to US Dollars. Rates for USD to AUD vary but at present an indication is $1 USD gives you approximately $1.40 AUD. Please check currency conversion rates for an exact figure.
+ How long will it take to receive my goods?
Sendle advise that shipping to the USA takes between 21-28 working days due to reduced and limited availability of international flights. We will do our very best to ensure your goods arrive safely and in a timely manner.
SHIPPING TO THE USA AND CANADA
+ Do you offer parcel tracking?
Yes we do. Once your order has been confirmed and shipping organised we will send you a tracking / parcel ID where you can follow your goods as they wing their way from Australia to your location in the US. The tracking information is accessible via the Sendle portal using the link and tracking ID provided.

+ I am involved in cat rescue and rehoming, how can I get my kitties sponsored?
We believe that every cat deserves a safe home, shelter, wellness, love & companionship and importantly freedom from the burden of unwanted litters. Each month we sponsor rescue organisations to neuter and vaccinate cats and kittens. If you would like to be sponsor recipient please Say Meow at meow@aussiecatlady.au. In return we simply ask you to share a photo of the beautiful kitty we sponsor and your permission to add her/him to our Sponsorship wall.
